Explore the Future of Autonomous Vehicles: Hosted by the University of Delaware’s Connected and Autonomous Research (CAR) Lab, this five-day, hands-on summer program offers high school students an exciting introduction to autonomous vehicle technology. Participants will:
Program autonomous robots using ROS and Python.
Learn the fundamentals of vehicle control, sensor technologies, and path planning.
Gain practical experience in autonomous driving by detecting Stop sign, predestrian crossing, construction Zone.
Collaborate on real-world projects in small teams to perform autonomous driving tasks.
Present their work in a final student showcase for families and faculty.
